100+ couples giving the max $4800 = $480,000+ (the incumbent already has over ½ million in his war chest)
100+ individuals giving the max $2400 = $240,000+
Or 1000+ individuals giving only $100 each = $100,000+
Or 10,000+ individuals giving a mere $10 each = $100,000+
Needless to say, the less $ folks give the more folks needed.
Snooze, you lose. Sorry, but folks seem more interested in watching someone else do what they know needs to be done without getting involved themselves. Blogging and forwarding emails accomplish nothing by themselves.
Due to the apathy, ignorance, lack of action (dead faith) of the citizenry, and lack of funds, I will not be putting my name on the ballot for Congress. To win a campaign like this and defend oneself in the public realm requires lots of mullah, of which I have very little.
To those few of you that did give what you could, thank you very much.
